The Position
The Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit: A Capital Campaign for 630 CHED Santas Anonymous, is looking for a
skilled and professional office administrator to join our capital campaign team.
Duties and responsibilities
General
• Handles communication by telephone, fax and email
# w) K+ }# y) C; {: [0 p+ }+ `• Is responsible for photocopying and all filing
• Records minutes of meetings when requested by the project leader and manager of marketing and fund
development, distributes and files same
+ Y. O2 W  J3 @& g) V• Participates in maintaining a binder of current administrative procedures
6 h' h! @  {' ~( r) X- U• Archives files
. d7 k6 I2 D) {• Assists in the production of Thank you letters and tax receipts
• Updates donor database and compiles weekly volunteer and other reports
9 F, S3 }+ L) h; h% D" {• Appointment and meeting scheduling
% H2 ^4 `! M1 ~7 x9 R; \9 O• Assist in planning and preparing for special events
: |: v* y# f' y• All other tasks required for the smooth and efficient running of the office

5 T9 Q% a7 }4 e• Provides administrative support to the project leader and manager of marketing and fund development as
required
+ w7 l9 q  W! R8 sAccounting
• Accounts payable complete to checks
• Creates Bank deposits and takes deposit to the bank
• Creates and distributes monthly financial reports
/ n7 w4 ~5 `" K3 r4 {Qualifications
• Skilled use of MS office products including database systems, spreadsheets, word processing and Power Point
• Knowledge of other software products such as financial systems (Simply Accounting) and donor management
software (Income Manager)
• Ability to flex time as required

630 CHED Santas Anonymous is spearheading the Capital Campaign to construct the Jerry Forbes Centre for
( g. P7 F, e9 }6 ~2 q: h; FCommunity Spirit: a 70,000 square foot multi-tenant, non-profit centre and volunteer workshop.
