Position:        Youth Leader
+ E% e9 U5 M' nDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
4 `2 \) z- P. q0 ^- _) _Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
% u. k1 Y2 ^' cCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)

2 ^& t4 j2 |& ~4 k: B/ s; _Duties:
5 \1 ]- x; y2 A1 I8 `; v: XTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

- n4 o# E! R  y5 a Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
" ~+ g; {: i; ]! l3 J! b Take attendance if available
4 J, [7 u2 u9 T Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
9 [0 O6 Y4 G* d" o; h9 I Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
( r' Z* t- @  X Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
, j* B" G+ w# K+ y% a; n4 W) X* @ Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
9 d6 A& }9 ?: }" Y9 v Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
) ^" T7 F% V7 y+ K4 p Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
 Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
9 G7 c! t; p( E/ o Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
+ E4 ^' A* F8 c& f( L Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
& c  U5 c! T# m5 @5 c! [" z, j4 [; @ Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
! L1 d- N( }) z/ u3 W Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
