Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
+ z" n, Y4 z8 \$ _6 WCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
, t3 G0 S- i. t+ w4 O* u" @  B4 m1 [/ ^To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
+ Q9 M9 Z4 {# _% Q7 K
' o2 N( x' {% m! D! \+ L Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
 Provide positive modelling to youth
: T" T- `" g2 t" ?, S* ]1 k Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
# ?) U& D" \% i3 p Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
( X" _3 j; E9 _1 R. }# Y Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
3 P, h. n5 J1 E! V8 h6 J Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
* i2 R( R2 z, w2 C9 J4 [2 c- {$ s( E+ w Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

8 ^5 B9 _; M) G6 z" ` Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
) L5 A' y, q# E3 {  ]6 u! W4 J Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
& p0 X* d+ W5 {/ t  [ A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
1 w: P* M$ C0 Y2 ~! ^, e Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
