Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
! ?4 w5 B7 H- X$ Z' wCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
3 y: v: s/ {9 C! jCamp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
Time:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
+ p; @, N1 `( P5 v1 `' A1 H*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
* t! R6 y7 L. f# a4 nTo assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
5 O/ i) a0 F$ ~7 g6 }8 q Take attendance if available
+ Z# k- ]& J3 y' o& g: p Provide positive modelling to youth
 Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
 Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
7 P3 m& k# l) x" |( _. C Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
0 A5 O* O2 Z, ]" [7 B" g' l Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
$ a) \+ }* i3 i8 }% m  N Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
7 ~2 w) b% l% j' o2 I. b- V2 M: b Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

 Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
" r. N) f: M% C5 i& b+ `4 q. E+ | Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
8 F4 R& r1 X8 t3 i/ f% | Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
 Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
! g6 M) a0 P& x Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
