The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

• Program implementation

; i0 J9 ^4 F$ f; z* d, y• Facilitation of recreation and leisure; y* [6 b9 l5 E `1 s/ @ d/ ^% j
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals7 z0 w1 Z/ ] {. B4 X
• Behavior management/ t) \1 l8 y O" n- H, \
• Medication Administration

Education
8 R( r9 ^( m, @% S3 a& J• Completion of a high school diploma
4 W2 Y0 Z- @$ R6 h" g# A6 g) k• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
2 q2 ]; p1 c1 N1 f1 @& H/ TTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)+ Y2 l# T+ v1 g1 E0 ?* a( Y
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)* g" R* i' P4 [: p6 F. D7 B
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training7 T5 `+ s+ M2 k* B, d2 `) V

• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
