The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

Responsibilities include:
• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
% V* b6 |& e2 g, J  H• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
# s- O9 L5 m! ]4 i- L• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
+ d' X4 P% {0 n9 e; |1 I6 w6 S• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
* C6 y/ X# \# \1 P- {: g• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

3 g3 w' K( D7 @6 QMinimum Qualifications:
) D. I# R8 c( B* V# ?6 ^Education
( G& G3 {) G8 X6 p• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
6 z3 H) l, K' bTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
1 m* R8 i( R5 L2 Y1 j( _• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR

• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
