The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
; h9 v9 X/ B" f% A4 Y# G  E• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
" h% ^- y4 v" s% f/ o' Y• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
# x3 L+ ?, N& b, a9 W; U  Z• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

- r4 W6 {2 r* }& T1 E/ z/ XEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
Training & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
  ~3 n" b0 L5 ], N' ]3 g! [• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
( D* f8 Y( L, s& c, e4 N• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
