The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
2 q4 d( Q# R* v; o" e% s% N! F• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
% ?+ J- S; ~$ M8 n- Z• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
  M+ P/ X) ]# _7 \: s• Medication Administration
1 r8 i7 t( p3 c2 A' D; P' I5 k+ D/ j• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

+ y, |" C- `* N4 W; a* EMinimum Qualifications:
# v) F6 [0 [" P# l6 n: e$ bEducation
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
/ M4 [+ R9 p3 M' h2 m5 B5 KTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
3 m( J- y$ d; L• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
1 s  D$ E  S( n8 v" X& t, g• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Skill Sets
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with personal care

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
