The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
% d( b" c& K  B9 @0 r0 T4 [• Program implementation
6 @% a! {. K) ]" O" c* R8 M! E9 j• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
: @6 s, K. Z$ O  j6 ]• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
, K" ^+ t( x6 ]0 J/ O• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
2 J2 B9 q$ p1 D) lEducation
/ o/ \. O3 q$ H3 h. y* p• Completion of a high school diploma
2 ]. p; d! F4 U( a• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
7 c& Q7 B9 z6 e3 N0 J5 jTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
# \5 J0 s; N; _3 S2 v. \/ o  X• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
0 s9 ^$ M: U' |( p5 u! Z• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
