Position Title: Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker( F" A3 F3 ]) \; l1 \7 f
Hours of Work: Part-time (10 hours per week)

Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

6 m1 ^" u5 a0 l/ M" t• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person
, ~6 ~4 l1 J, U7 I7 K7 B5 |• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST
, I H. z$ o+ q" E• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately& P% a& P1 b! V, U' Q8 Q
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter
, Y2 j& V# ~( e1 X+ p# F8 }$ W• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings6 R% H4 E' j# J2 y
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents: b3 Q% W, m2 T; ]0 K
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker; C5 X) F3 K5 C% U9 v2 {, T
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events
- f0 _3 e2 @ I8 O• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Perform general office duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
( [9 a, p8 e. j, k' J' c/ y• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person1 n8 M9 L) p$ P
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset3 Q! h! C& \+ }* k3 ?
• Good English writing and oral communication skills
Q1 o/ r. G- |9 @• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients
; i8 w# `1 m+ c; S1 u! }. @1 v: }• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook# d5 s. n/ I; r3 X' p: ]9 v
• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately ; B5 ~: A) q. ]" q" q9 B
• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds

Qualifications:
" Y2 t5 @' G% U# b0 p, ~! r• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience
/ C* W+ p/ ?. c• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment* |+ e8 D. I# r
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
