Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
" u" [6 |3 _/ ~) R! z3 FMajor Responsibilities and Accountabilities
•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
' [: L3 W7 k, [5 X# j$ w. l•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
6 Z5 f9 }$ O0 f6 r, h' X& H3 k  }. uo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
2 K3 }) y+ F/ S* b+ t•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
: F6 h4 h7 C/ Y; R3 h" n5 Go        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
3 [- F* u$ \, P" Y" {' x. H" Ro        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.

•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
! F" P9 ]3 [: z. t, Oo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
3 Q4 B. I* c- a8 D; jo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
o        Assist in writing and new product specification
" {7 h5 L2 [! D' C2 T. [o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
% G. J& q; _7 a" @& lo        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

7 O2 Z  u" @' ?Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
; E7 r2 W3 `$ [3 B. k/ r5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
List of Skills/Qualifications       
% u8 V& G. u1 B: M' }! u6 \•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
, D& @# q0 E2 D8 u& m2 ?•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
•        Proficient in software use and writing.
" G) d9 D& D+ V& x7 _7 W& U  C9 K) M" [•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
