Job Title: Product Technology Manager, Lab Equipment         Date: October 13, 2011

Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.: r- w- A' T2 d9 ~3 }
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
9 i& }$ v" j. J- p/ q/ @•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
0 d. P" v# q/ G& i•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.2 J$ A+ V1 V9 A, h3 m
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
# s9 Q4 a( [6 v2 X4 r" s% f2 Q" so        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release; [, D7 o% b) ^  i
•        Assist where needed in application questions.- ~# \* e$ M$ r( e6 }
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
4 o) K% ?# I7 g! l1 H. _o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
( U( `1 y: f4 no        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed9 a8 x. [6 c3 f; I2 I% u
•        Track and report all warranty failures; t3 k/ s1 R% O$ F4 y
o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.; R1 D9 D9 k0 w5 G
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
8 o6 q1 b  e+ O" F1 L  ?9 ~8 D1 d0 v•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
; V9 [; H  U$ {7 z: oo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 G. h( ]1 K7 C. wo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
' \0 M- l5 t) H! T" M2 s8 ?o        Assist in writing and new product specification
. ?7 k2 A4 P& Ro        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
3 Z: M6 C4 o0 V4 t* Y! Ko        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
# S3 Y3 ^: |1 P5 {! n•        Assist in Sales support & training.
; q3 _, L+ B8 a# |: b•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
! p5 C; |6 P3 U+ q* pProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)        / J. q, X$ P1 s; ~! X
5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
1 v9 W4 E( |, f! gList of Skills/Qualifications       
5 Q! O' j% v4 {•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
3 [" i) |  p! P5 ?3 A  j•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
0 e' s. d0 Q; F/ Y# l1 g•        Proficient in software use and writing.0 y) Z( y: Q  N7 q$ f/ @
•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.

•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
