Scope and Purpose of Job" P! D$ n+ o: K4 z7 m2 x  l/ R: v
Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
- T2 j) Z2 j1 \/ k•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
; p5 M% m+ d7 b* p2 o•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems! K9 D) E6 }, {$ y! i7 y
o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
. t9 `% V! I* `/ [/ d•        Assist where needed in application questions.
, D4 N! n: f$ N' E; I8 Y  D7 I•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.1 {( O( B, d/ K8 b% B
o        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
& Q- C" t% f, O% j- b- U$ q•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
& V  S3 _1 @+ Q' qo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports( M! u- E0 o  N. S* p
o        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.& f3 r' C: R+ ]
o        Assist in writing and new product specification. c' z3 B+ d" p( s, z
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
, _! P9 n- c3 `) ^: To        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
. {- O# {1 y: Q" i" @4 l•        Assist in Sales support & training.# B3 P2 z, e( Y1 p; M- g2 }0 i2 E
•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

; _4 z* P# M6 K, k% g4 QProfessional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
  n; z3 d  ^- b4 Y8 C) ]5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
* Y2 O8 C/ {. ~6 v( h! NList of Skills/Qualifications        - x5 l0 |4 W# x, u. k) \+ R( \
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
+ g2 d3 i( `! D  o4 Y4 b•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
2 [) n2 O5 k& n/ X8 `•        Proficient in software use and writing.
5 \1 d3 E7 g2 g( N•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.$ \& {8 O+ v/ H! m
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
