Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.1 f4 Y. a; }6 R8 o/ _
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
' [: L3 W7 k, [5 X# j$ w. l•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
6 Z5 f9 }$ O0 f6 r, h' X& H3 k  }. uo        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release# O8 i0 M9 p! \4 L: c; j8 d
•        Assist where needed in application questions.

o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures

•        Track and report all warranty failures

9 D) ?" w1 g% b+ No        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.4 o! o8 ^5 g; V$ P0 d& o
•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
! F" P9 ]3 [: z. t, Oo        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports

o        Assist in writing and new product specification
" {7 h5 L2 [! D' C2 T. [o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.) |. P6 V9 T4 F: f  ~& S: `
o        In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

; E7 r2 W3 `$ [3 B. k/ r5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers! v2 c  E5 P' X5 ~9 E
List of Skills/Qualifications       
% u8 V& G. u1 B: M' }! u6 \•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
, D& @# q0 E2 D8 u& m2 ?•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software 2 K( @) v$ a2 H! ~; r
•        Proficient in software use and writing.

•        Ability to travel worldwide.
