Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

4 L6 S& }" }5 e' u) X# l• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.) S: ?, y- l% l' t N' m
• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.) D1 k) N! h1 X
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems. U, `% S) B- g& G% |" _
o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release/ `# ?4 Y0 O$ F1 X- j
• Assist where needed in application questions.+ o6 l% Y( Z$ l3 H6 r6 X9 g% _. Z
• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

• Track and report all warranty failures

o Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
1 V( T- V' _" D* B( f/ K, P• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.0 x! `0 n0 v" X
o Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
) y6 b2 M/ u3 b1 D# u" ?) co Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
! k. `( @% H1 C5 Ho Assist in writing and new product specification
[* w3 ^" z4 q; S3 Fo Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.* F. K" `! T# a* m
o In rare cases where no other solution exist to travel to customer site to solve technical issues.

5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers; X! Q u: N0 s9 X& Z
List of Skills/Qualifications
. O+ I* e% o \& }, g7 ?5 y• Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process. Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
