A recent interview with an older mother in Britain (via The Daily Telegraph ) offers an interesting take on the debate about age and motherhood, in particular whether there should be an age limit when it comes to choosing the option of IVF.

6 A8 S/ z; Y+ f3 hIn 2008, Tollefson underwent IVF treatment at a Russian clinic. Using an egg from a donor and her partner's sperm, she went on to become pregnant at the very ripe old age of 57 and gave birth to a healthy daughter, Freya. 9 O6 I( t8 V2 t: S# Y; r' k; g! ^
