, p6 M0 v4 c5 @$ k- b9 ]' [9 l  H' S•        Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
•        Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
3 R6 V# B5 h, j  B•        Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers
•        Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams
•        Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
6 c9 G- Q7 W" E  I8 {8 t4 m! {% l; x•        Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
% x4 [5 Y/ {! C9 L' G•        File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
% w6 v5 x/ \) z/ c9 v. P•        Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
•        Mix paint, blend and match colors
•        Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
7 f. d+ G) X9 b( ?•        Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs
•        Repair or replace interior components, such as seat frame assembly, carpets and floorboard insulation

4 g# r# l6 \  \. t8 l; ^  X* }8 }& @Education and Experience Requirements:
3 _2 q- u* g4 h2 h3 }% Y6 h3 d* C•        Completion of secondary school is required
•        Completion of a three- to four-year motor vehicle body repair apprenticeship program
* j& Z& l: L; ]. S. z. tor
A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade
$ ]' G7 P) e3 A3 n. ]$ h•        Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory
