NOV Tuboscope is seeking 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice or Journeyman HD or Automotive Mechanics for their Nisku location. 3 W# Y: c) L% Z4 A& p* f' q
5 }& p/ S) V. \$ E, X* {The Mechanics will repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain a fleet of mobile heavy-duty equipment used in transportation and the oil & gas industry. + |) q. L' p$ M) P2 {

Essential Job Responsibilities: 3 S; Z7 o6 Q& k2 y

Preventative and scheduled maintenance on fleet of trucks, trailers and forklifts, including checking their performance and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
( x @" a) C1 u1 @" x' ADiagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems using hand and power tools l I% z% y E% _; q2 l6 Y- ~7 F
Reassemble equipment
+ h, F; @9 H: p1 Y: gTest repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications

Qualifications include:

7 @ g( V3 i, h, N# KApprenticeship status or Journeyman Certification in either Automotive or HET program is an asset, but not required
