Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.1 g3 Q1 }6 i* ^; L0 K) U2 k8 |. P. J! p
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:+ K0 B) s, ^: z: }4 X3 }, X
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.+ ^. W! K, Q- c0 U- B, ^3 z. d
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.2 d. a2 s6 u. P. @8 w# `
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
" [  o4 I/ z1 T3 S, u" Y5 j5 d- `•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.7 x( X2 }8 E- a- X5 C+ y6 \
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
% Z; D$ [! q6 k; s7 h  z0 _•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
4 s8 x- d9 U, O) K3 f& {•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.8 Q0 @2 D8 g6 q* D6 J
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
' D4 N1 o! R+ M+ @•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
1 }5 L. ^, g; b; p- q7 j6 L•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.2 e8 `) F* {+ e  C" p+ A
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
$ _% b. L( C' k2 K' M( e8 S•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings., f3 d6 q7 y8 f! K% |6 D
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.! G( q, i8 D$ Y$ W8 w) p: z; Z
•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.+ `' R/ Q/ C+ b
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.$ J7 o4 c. v. S& Q

Requirements:/ D" |) V  m: Z! T& ]' ?0 R) C
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
. j& P4 u$ `; q, M7 H+ K' G! w+ Y•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
- Z# R# P3 y% D•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
) b- T6 I9 t! `: m' l. f1 k•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.  ^, ~! X- o' s$ P: ?7 \, \
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.) r/ t0 X) Y+ L5 O
