Description
- E4 n9 b/ {* ?# W' aTracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.# M2 Q; u7 w- m
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
  Y; `2 r, _" B% j5 y7 \" C•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.! r" O+ A' B9 |. [
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
- O* i- ]6 G# b. ]•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.. y3 i' ?0 q& K/ C
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.) c0 x; T  a4 k0 J1 B( g
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
  e/ b5 {2 S! q( o; r: x•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.$ E+ P7 r# f5 g
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.4 x( R& v1 q0 A: R  r7 ~% c, M& i
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
& E0 `" N3 g) \. B•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).* ^, I+ F/ a: _$ |8 ^4 ~, d
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program." H% X, D8 x% v6 S7 }
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.

•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
- c4 r5 z/ ~# }2 w3 Z. c  lRequirements:: k8 d* k4 p- e1 J* w
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 3 l# `0 R" D. D7 k/ G
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. % c) U8 W* [) U
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. & E% W2 j4 M! m
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
