Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
1 C& y  }5 x! D; h' o& Z% a. }Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
' L  f6 Q" Z: }" D' r•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.; f* ]+ V' N) j/ [
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
- p+ {% W9 E$ K8 Z1 D8 A•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
# R8 D9 \6 R; Z% z9 [6 k•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
' E$ R9 w. p5 W( F( f9 M8 [•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. ; b& L2 j3 T- l* c8 \+ C
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.- E1 F- @/ S+ K8 `; Z) B7 _
•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
1 x) F( d5 a6 \4 Z•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
# j5 S" r( R; S: ^# T1 n•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).6 N% v% p8 b2 o1 I( @7 c9 F
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.3 r' h6 }& ?% c: p  j8 b  F$ U
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.0 _* q9 A3 @2 t9 ^: n2 f
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
9 b% M! g; H6 R. F* U  b1 Y•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
( \7 E2 n* ]0 Q& B  ~% ^7 P•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

Requirements:1 P# u2 A9 a7 d+ O
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. 1 o$ w6 V: ?% k5 V9 n  Q# V- q/ g
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
8 N7 q" [7 m6 e•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
( J" ~& \+ E- _; ^•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.: y+ k- |/ M9 p! H. Y
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.8 a) |. R* B/ m; C3 X) ^
