Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:7 E+ i' D6 N+ C1 G) ?# L4 T4 L
• Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.6 p. A) r. A( k( ~. z7 t: N
• Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.: b, L* W' [- h2 S: E
• Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
9 k* Q' V' e/ p- `* T; [( W• Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.5 ^- U+ l/ w3 t$ Z
• Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
o; M% W6 q8 t6 X• Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.6 X' s6 S; R# m% L4 B
• Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
2 C8 [( s& X" A! M1 ]• Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.+ ?$ \# @) i% D- C! W1 x
• Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).# ?) ]/ q7 S6 n4 o
• Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
/ z1 @( d4 Y+ H) Z) C• Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.# Y1 T. V5 ^. d8 `
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings.) o) Q! @% m/ J+ D# A. a# Q
• Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

• Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements:$ ~4 w+ z: j- \" o
• Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
6 O( W+ u+ \: J& u3 V, @• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
& f3 [8 q, Y8 q# e& a/ ^8 \• Strong Union Relations experience required. % Y. \" m9 q& M8 D1 ~
• Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.7 ^$ K8 e E! |
