0 u/ F% `. \4 B% ~Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:9 g) B; L& N" [: [
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.
5 D( q1 u. z0 F•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
4 b9 r2 F9 W9 V7 Q0 w$ R% Z6 \•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
( i  G! T) b- \•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.9 G; M0 b, M3 _1 P7 t# w$ Y
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives.
9 Y: f2 U' ], {6 I' }+ L* `: a% F! D, }•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
' W% g1 _- c) ]/ W' @6 P•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.: A- ?' x4 Q$ G9 @) X
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
; X$ j9 n" w/ h7 M•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
3 z* O# O' B  ]. {3 O•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.
: R3 A- a- v7 I% O; U•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.  i; y! {% E% x: p5 E, |+ u
•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.4 C& O/ ?" u! }& l0 U8 T# m; B
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
' R- D8 I6 l& {% C6 T•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
4 U4 D2 u1 R. R% J3 Y# C1 b7 ?( m•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
3 h( h& l: g8 ~+ ERequirements:2 C. ~$ C5 B8 g/ y/ h) W4 B
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
- F, A# b( u6 N5 ~•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.   l3 t! J# w9 b' g' _
•        Strong Union Relations experience required.
" l( l" k+ d% E+ z; A& `6 ?•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.
$ ?, O. P! v0 t# J  s1 ^, _. H& l•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
