Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
5 W% B! d. P) G/ F# C. DReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:
# q; p. k1 Y, e) D  l•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment., @7 T1 x+ k2 }2 E& z) d' h6 ^6 o
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members.
7 J( C/ O' Y# f& R2 x# U•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.
$ }7 ^" N! J7 g, J•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.2 d7 o; S- ^1 c
•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. / O2 W& X) t8 W' K4 L- p
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
$ U9 V7 {  O( t4 L/ D•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required./ _: l+ Y1 w9 m, X/ c
•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers." s4 j0 K3 i1 F
•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).
  u, ~* W" A0 }2 ~1 J' K•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.  s+ W  o  P8 o
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
. t* a) ?/ z% W8 g- t•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.
8 Y5 ~% w/ `+ @& Y6 _; M•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.
( g1 S# M. b, U. [1 g4 J0 m: j3 N•        Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.& |) G; T" v* |  c- H4 @" s1 V% Y; f. p
•        Additional special projects as required by the Human Resources Manager.7 m% m; k& g  q5 \+ l: m

Qualifications
' M" e' F: a. o$ GRequirements:
+ o/ R: m% U8 K/ f; V•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
9 ?$ a2 }! o: g, h•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources. # V, X, [% @% t# b" I" o
•        Strong Union Relations experience required. - L. r4 S& w9 a$ N9 F% [. E7 v, q$ x
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.' F9 r  Y6 w( Z: `& D6 x
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
