was traditionally captured with medium-format equipment for maximum

before, and my style of shooting will be enhanced rather than compromised,

When I’m shooting beauty and jewelry in the studio or fashion on location,

D* |# i) \ b& I! K. M: I, f; f8 {: Z+ @has noticeable improvements in metering accuracy, while the larger LCD is5 F0 ~' h* i( d9 H4 d# S
easier to read. The camera body feels solid and ergonomically simple, while
( [& ~: b. E& m+ G% \: halso feeling lighter and smaller than previous high-resolution Nikons. New5 Q3 S3 S0 b" E! l
cameras always inspire me to test and explore, and all the useful features/ \8 u/ }* s2 g9 m6 Z6 K* G
in such a compact package will open huge creative possibilities for my highquality6 N9 _) O/ z5 b6 l9 T# U4 k

To me, cameras are more like paintbrushes than technology. The goal is

are important, they are not the be-all or end-all. But after a lifetime using
* F" G/ E4 \* z: F! G0 ]% H/ e Jcountless cameras, I have found a new best friend. It was not love at first
# c, Y+ ~0 f' S" E8 s( }* c' Bsight. The sharpness and detail were initially intimidating, exposing my flaws$ {0 z( M$ e* Q, x& M' V
like never before. Subtle camera movements showed and differences of

+ L! V( N3 n2 _# R+ zam enthralled with this technology. Why? Because the images almost feel as

tremendously to the camera’s personality. After spending a month with the" h+ K* Y# y$ V" U J) g* v
D800, I’ll never be the same again. Perhaps the best compliment I can express
) J' ^* i/ e e( z% {is that now I will think differently about the images I make.

range of light. It definitely takes my photographic versatility and image quality
