Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week

0 @* |- P. P3 NMain duties:
* n- v/ x! i1 u) o5 C* V4 ]•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
8 h" o$ N* R) w2 t( ]2 z•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
! ?$ E* ?- ^7 Y6 f* e5 g•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
8 s+ ?" R" I) s! |* Y" T$ v•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
8 f( e  m3 `; B: F8 i# P( V•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

- N- k5 g" o4 `, B8 _•        Completion of secondary education is required
•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
