Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
$ f& j0 o& o6 ]3 ?•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
. D: d+ Z0 m5 g! a0 u( G, A% D•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
; z& d" N  x5 W* k( t7 l& g•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
7 D- E2 a8 M0 I, B1 i% H•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

•        Completion of secondary education is required
8 M- n! I$ z% O7 v5 P; b•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
2 @7 A4 g' ~6 d5 i) z8 s1 A1 V6 o•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
