Position:         Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6212)

Location:         11190 Ellerslie Road, Edmonton, AB, T6W 1A2
Wages:         $13.30/ hour, 40 hours per week
Shifts:                 Rotational / day / night / weekends

4 n7 b$ D5 v) b! w$ k' f- uMain duties:
•        Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food
•        Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
•        Prepare food order summaries for chef according to requests from customers
•        Establish methods to meet work schedules
•        Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
6 R- C/ x* m+ M& H1 A# |" L•        Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
3 |5 O2 T, l# @" j4 k! [( t  h•        Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
•        May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
! ^  X1 t6 P. ]6 y9 T! }& ]•        May plan menus and determine related food and labour costs

Job Requirements:
" @+ ]5 v! }  _6 S' q' |9 i•        Completion of secondary education is required
* t# d) J  f, Y( \8 e•        2 years of experience in food preparation or service are required
/ |$ x# t7 b* j' R5 k8 S•        Availability to work day, night and weekend shifts and “on call” requests are a must
•        Viable candidates must  have a suitable means to travel to and from work regardless of time of day
