CALGARY — A teen girl was taken to Foothills Hospital in potentially life-threatening condition Monday morning after a head-on collision that involved a "complicated extrication" near Chestermere.+ c, Y: q; f1 I' n3 S

At around 8:30 a.m., RCMP, Chestermere fire crews and Calgary EMS personnel were called to Highway 791 just east of Calgary after a pick-up truck and smaller car crashed head-on, said EMS spokesman Stuart Brideaux.% M# v$ M& u3 S
% U0 ~9 E5 m/ r, b0 S( I8 S4 `The female driver in her mid-teens, who was the lone occupant of the small car, sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries and needed to be extricated from the vehicle by fire crews.
