现在很多新移民都喜欢读LPN，觉得时间短，其实时间也不短，整整两年的时间。
我在MAC读的四年的大本护理很快也就过来了。
我读书的时候亚省卫生系统缺钱把很多对于大本护理学生工作的项目都拿掉了，但是现在他们又有钱了，其实大本护理学生在学完第一年就可以申请类似于NURSING AID的工作，第二年读完以后可以申请在读护理学生的工作（undergranduate nurse UNE），大三读完以后可以申请或是继续以UNE的身份工作。其实读完大二以后，大三就两个学期八个月，大四也是八个月，所以中间有四个月可以工作挣钱，而且税还低，挺合适的。当然作为新移民日子肯定过的紧巴，但是毕业以后工资就会有很大涨幅，说实在的我才毕业不到一年，工资就涨了好几块钱一小时，我觉得挺舒服的。

在UA也有AFTER DEGREE两年的护理本科项目，很多有大本学历的新移民也可以考虑，如果英文好，可以选择这个项目，快，短，工作好找。

其实如果你英语好，信息都在网络，而且你也可以去每个学校问或是听他们的项目介绍，就是因为很多新移民英语不够好，对项目没有足够的了解，我们才有了这个讲座的主意，对项目有了全面的了解，再加上动力和努力，才能一步一步实现自己的目标，在屯里有个稳定的工作，能照顾到家。

就算是读LPN以后也有RN再读的可能性，而且每个省，每个学校都有不同的项目，在BC有的学校只要18个月（一年半的时间）就可以完成从LPN到RN的升级，当然在进项目之前要完成很多选修课。

在护理这个行业，机会还是很多的。

作为一名西粉，一定支持小西红柿的任何工作。

UA的after degree不太容易：
第一，现在要去先修6门课程，把这6门课程搞下来，估计6-10个月了，再加上没有什么假期，所以2年的afterdegree基本上相当于3年甚至3年半；
第二，雅思6.5不难，难的是雅思口语要7.5，这个不容易啊。

It is very easy for most immigrants to learn Nursing program in Norquest College.
Some immigrants from Africa did not take any English tests because they used English30-1 instead of TOEFL and IELTS.
