Job Description:

# B+ n! ?% V: ~1 {7 G•        Complete inventory and ordering on a weekly basis and adjustments on a daily basis. Complete all paperwork and adjustment on time and deliver to the office on or before deadlines% J' D3 N# @& l
•        Maintain business records as outlined in the Subway Operations Manual, and as directed by management
& {- O; J, X4 E  J' L% E% P! U•        Communicate changes of food formulas, standards, etc. to staff
$ \8 n7 B" \0 n* h) _- i5 x•        Support local and national marketing initiatives. New windows up before opening on start date
- G" r2 o# a$ U0 }8 y; ?8 b•        Ensure all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed
' E. W! O9 f) o7 }( |0 s•        Recruit, reward, train, evaluate, and terminate staff, supervising between 10 – 20 employees3 }4 V7 F3 C, P" @6 E$ Z# a& m
•        Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales2 s! L" N7 R8 V3 _0 V* ]
•        Plan special events and promotions, participate in all events and promotions sponsored by management # r+ r6 g; G2 e% U8 G% ]
•        Complete online coursework in the University of Subway as directed. Monitor staff progress on University of Subway

Education: Completion of secondary school is required
, ^: K$ h  u: v& O) L7 {Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in the food services sector. QSR experience an asset
5 F  z+ M; s+ a% v7 {1 F( GCredentials: Alberta Health and Food Safety Certificate (paid for by employer)2 w+ k& C) v) [- c
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/ cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
