地势低造成积水问题，就解决

如果新房子后院地势低，比邻居都低，积很多水，会造成地下室漏水吗，甚至对房子会有影响吗，怎么防止后院地势低造成的积水呢？谢谢。现在草皮,final grading都没做，邻居家也没做。

不用担心, 只要final grading做好，后院的水就会流到路面下水道流走，即时地势比邻居低些，你家后院也不会积水的。

你的ROUGH GRADING CERTIFICATE 有一张图,上面表明你的LOT 的设计要求,你的FINAL GRADING要按那个做,该高 的地方高,该低的地方低,水的流向应该没问题.

The survey can be dont by registered engineer or government survey person. The cost is about $300. If your final grading is not finished properly accroding to the design requirement, you maybe be required to do it. The survey is done by testing those points of design.

明白了，可是那些points of design我们老百姓没啥相关知识的能读懂吗，还是安全起见，花钱请所谓专业人员完成呢？

I did the final grading and landscaping myself. My topsoil is much thicker than those professonal company. I calculated the volume of topsoil according to 4 inch thick layer. The survey passed one time. But my several neighbours seldom passed the survey one time. Major reason is that those company they hired didn't use much topsoil.
