Jessica Qianhui Ma, was born in February 2003, and began piano lessons at the age of 3. She has participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival, Fall Festival every year since 2008, a scholarship winner for the recent two years, she also received second place of Canadian Music Competition 2011 final in last July in Montreal. At the age of 8, she passed her Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Grade 8 and Grade 10 practical exam, Grade 8 theoretical exam as well. All those exams were marked with First Class Honors. Now she is working on Grade 10 theory, hopefully will get through within this year.

I think it is a good chance to encourage your child. Jessica is my friend's daughter; she is really cute, talented and hardworking.

Her school is a new school in Ruthernford area; lots Chinese immigrants' kids go there. Though my child is not attending that school; I will take my child and friends to her concert to show little support to her, young kid with big heart.

sophy, 有机会让孩子的父母上来分享分享育儿经验吧，特别是怎么会那么早就发现孩子的天赋在钢琴上的？

wpbaby, 还是希望那天见到你啊。你儿子也挺有天分的阿。jessica 父母不经常上网，如果想交流一下经验，当天演奏会结束后可以跟她的父母聊聊的。据我所知，除了天分以外，后天的努力专注也是很重要的。而且她的父母也倾注付出很多的精力。有天：我跟我儿子说，去jessica家找她玩吧。我儿子说，“Jessica 要练琴，她不会跟我玩的。
