急问：有关从美国回加拿大签证的问题

请问各位大侠～～～

我有加拿大work permit， 但是之前的Single Entry Visa过期了，还没来得及重新办。如果这时候我只去美国再回来，还需不需要加拿大的Entry Visa了？我在CIC的网站上没找到，之前听人说可以，但是慎重起见，问问大家的意思。如果有官方的链接或文档就再好不过了～

1 H3 W5 L, l. T7 @5 D; SThere are two exceptions: you can visit the United States or Saint-Pierre et Miquelon and return to Canada without getting a new visa, as long as you:

' y" ]5 C) l+ a: \% J* b! ?    return within the initial period authorized by the immigration officer or
7 A) f; v2 x4 c5 H. b3 D7 q) p, C    have a valid visitor record, work permit, study permit, or a temporary resident permit (authorizing re-entry) and return within the initial period authorized by the officer.

多谢啦～就是这个initial period authorized by the officer. 会不会有这种解释，就是Single Entry Visa过期之前？
