没那么脏，但挺脏。主要是因为冬天下雪为访滑，市政部门在道路上撒土，到了春天如果气候再干燥的话，一刮风你会发现尘土很大。另外Edmonton还有两个坏名声治安差和汽车保险高。治安差没感觉到，只是经常在新闻里看到帮派火拼枪战。汽车保险高可是深有体会，这是因为Edmonton交通事故率全加拿大最高。新移民买辆旧车一年保险就得两三千，还不是全保，好多保险公司还不接受新手。5 l* }$ Z0 B" U5 y
来以前做好思想准备，省的将来打击太大。' }; a! _& H$ t5 }1 s

Is Alberta government so foolish to do so? No, No. Using sand is good for environment (also it won't damage your car). Only those provinces that cannot afford the expense of using sand in winter will use salt instead. 7 ~* E) t s7 s: Y4 X# J0 R5 w: M2 S$ M) f @. ?) Z
Do you like the sand (will be cleaned up in late spring) or the salt (will damage your car, but keep the road looking clean)?
