S* C) zPosition Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker.

• Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate person' c6 n% y7 A9 B, `0 r5 E) H
• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST5 x4 ^" F. N) N
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately! W' S3 ~* |3 E$ A* O) g
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter, S2 m$ a% m! T: U2 ?) g3 Y, }4 M
• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents
* C. w4 \ A- V! o• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker
# z5 p0 B% C# q/ }& Z$ f• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events: @! q3 x: }! J5 L
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Attend meeting and training to stay current on immigrant settlement matters

% t3 Y, I+ o# l• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients* N1 m+ m! R' y+ U- c8 i: F( s4 N( J
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook
. Z- V! A8 Q9 W- \& S3 M5 p• Ability to address multi-task and set priority appropriately

9 G. H/ K* d; [* Z) }% ^. T/ G• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience 8 u: ?0 ~+ M, [
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment8 { ^& I0 W$ M! H% o& t
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
! p e# G' f' A/ }! n• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
