·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

( m* Z2 W0 A# U- W* c: D( y·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

% w" m6 Q+ P2 I9 I6 y·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings
! a- ]/ y! e5 l$ ~2 N5 g: F
·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

" ]4 b) B% F1 B* j: h·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

, b! s# {' l8 U' X) P8 _  e·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

& ~: \( L3 B$ a0 Y5 k7 }·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements

: T. @* I& Y8 M4 u' ~  p# [·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training
! ?* G; ^* X0 e# ^$ ~: T
/ ]  _& }- S) @$ C/ E) R6 m; Q·         Attention to detail is a must
  X0 k8 x( L$ N! g+ i
·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
" u. h+ m- W! ~: K$ J
·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Be willing to travel

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.
