·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

/ |/ Z7 I' h( c, U1 I4 p( k/ ^·         Reviewing vendor drawings

·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

9 V5 R1 i- g$ ?% p& I5 O: K, X·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

1 ^( G& ?+ N" j8 F9 m- ?·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

·         Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company.

Position Requirements
) V- g, W" f5 A; P
4 F/ n2 p) S! J, \; {+ a, w·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

9 M$ B- U' Y% d6 O5 B; y  ^·         Attention to detail is a must

3 w! R+ g+ V: G2 p0 k' C  I·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
5 V5 N8 a+ f# _8 m
·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

$ X& _& b0 y' b7 e6 G  w·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

; v: D' W7 }8 z: u( m) s·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

·         Possess a Class 5 driver’s license

·         Be willing to travel
