·         Engineering 480V to 38kV switchgear

·         Engineering 2.4kV to 7.2kV Motor Control Centres including softstarters and autotransformer starters

·         Engineering fully integrated electrical buildings

·         Reviewing vendor drawings

0 ^& o% E. ?( ~  \5 `0 w2 c·         Analyze customer drawings, specification and engineering notes in order to create a design that meets the customer’s needs.

·         Create a scope of work by identifying the company’s agreed to obligation.

. a; U. p6 e  T3 V+ {5 p* ~·         Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

·         Assist project management and estimation with draft budget changes, based on customer design/scope changes.

·         Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

·         Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

·         Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Position Requirements

# R6 ~5 F% \1 L& j) o  A' _) @3 l·         BSc in Electrical Engineering

2 Z: ^" d& U$ [& x7 y, ?5 @·         Registered with APEGGA as an Engineer in Training

·         Attention to detail is a must
; e5 K& h7 D- V  d2 Q  ^
+ b8 \, O- f3 u# L! V" G) ~/ {·         Experience using AutoCAD is an asset
1 n9 c& Z* f8 z2 [+ O: W
·         Experience with Microsoft Office is an asset

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

·         Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

) V, h+ r% r5 ?9 K5 d8 n3 Q: j·         Ability to manage the engineering of multiple projects simultaneously

. H! Z( n! f5 T; U: ~·         Strong written and oral communication skills.

·         Strong interpersonal skills.

5 ^! {0 c# f1 A9 Y9 k5 D0 t·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
