  ^9 w/ W& @2 G. h$ QLocation: The job is based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, however frequent travel to project sites in various provinces of Canada is required.

' J6 V: }% q6 G! U5 W& X! `/ i
; Q4 O+ t9 w# X6 H5 O-        Connect piping systems to water mains, supply tanks, pumps, compressors and control equipment  
7 S# _/ `( @! m8 N+ C1 d9 }1 s6 A-        Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form to determine layout requirements
, c3 L1 ]; P' |-        Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines
-        Select type and size of pipe required
-        Measure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power tools
, \0 m, W1 B. o8 o6 H. K: S( k0 W-        Weld, braze, cement, solder and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping system
5 K& W4 z2 b9 o4 m1 t- F8 ^-        Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
-        Test system for leaks using testing equipment
-        Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system
- r( l: P  G8 c2 B4 ]% \-        Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system
2 r1 u4 p/ y$ a% G. d9 s  p-        Actively participate in the Iyinisiw safety program
- U: E( u) j" P& ?) s. @-        Other tasks related to pipefitting as may be required during the course of business


Required Qualifications

9 ?3 p) m0 G/ m/ r3 y-        Completion of secondary school
( ^( ]& Z: f+ P; ?' X% ^-        Completion of formal Apprenticeship Program of four- to five-years or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in pipefitting system installation
-        Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
-        Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

' v( E+ w' ]# X4 C4 h& E-        Safety tickets are considered an asset
-        Valid drivers’ license is an asset

-        Valid driver’s license is an asset
