To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.: G: {( A, J5 y3 M9 V- x

$ M& }& x2 V! t4 W1 m& A• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.' Q! r  o' y& Z" d
• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;
5 x; B9 y# l1 i• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
) G: x% W: _. \; p! e" T• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
5 u7 g) c: L( h! X3 T( N• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.
! ^* L# w2 a. j4 g4 h3 k$ i, M+ G2 g• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;$ n. g% E2 z6 \( Y4 s) Q
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
; B. E, W- D9 X+ d" X" O• Participate in trade shows;
; z9 _: S2 t1 I• Attend public relation functions; Participating in community and trade boards and committees on behalf of the hotel;

• Ensure top level delivery of expected guest service;

, \) t5 k8 a8 ~•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

+ {' S$ K; F6 w! m6 J6 a• Ability to lead and develop;

• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;
