Job Description:; X7 ?& v# s  _3 ^# r( S$ g# g+ {
To acquire and maintain a solid base of customers, attaining a high level of profitability for the property. You will be accountable for generating budgeted revenue through development and implementation of a sales & marketing strategy.

• Solicit new business: Locally Negotiated, leisure, association, tours, sports, group markets and incentive travel through planned personal calls, mail outs and telephone solicitations.
4 N1 I3 M3 T% T* g8 _• Develop and execute annual Business Plan and Sales and Marketing plan to ensure top line revenues are achieved;/ r9 u7 g6 N% p! J. b
• Execute individual travel bookings, group bookings, small meetings and catering business;
% k+ |0 c" J' U9 ~5 G! t. u4 f• Provide professional leadership to the sales team with a strong focus on achieving budgeted revenues;
: s# V& H) M; n7 `4 G+ L0 `• Investigate/follow-up on all Sales leads maintaining an effective trace system in order to convert potential business, lapsed business and maximize on repeat business.% J! M  ~4 H$ R
• As part of the hotel's sales team, assist in the creation, planning and organization of any in-house promotional efforts of the hotel;8 T% _; h6 ~9 P2 X. Y
• Work with National/Regional Sales initiatives;
/ L& e* p$ W* R- P7 g, F0 ~" A) b• Participate in trade shows;

• To participate in Revenue/Yield Management meetings; Increase Market Share;

•1-2 year of Sales or Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
! V' O, ?. a+ a8 A5 @• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
/ p0 F, n+ [0 i5 m  p• Ability to lead and develop;
& u, ~' v& g1 F9 j4 w: m• Background in the development & execution of business, marketing and sales plans and operating budgets;
/ G! U8 E' j2 N' b' {( g• Proven record of development of sales and marketing efforts;. Q8 y# ?. x" L# `
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
