Job Responsibilities
% Z+ q5 X, b+ T: k• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.. M4 x& i& L- }) K+ r) H" s5 h, j
• Oversee hotel security requirements. 7 M: \4 R, |; c6 t- E+ U k
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.( G, _: q' P% V; f, ?$ ^1 B( `* r
• To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation.
6 g; T4 ^ y8 [• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.( r5 q: h/ |) N0 b0 {
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
7 x8 ?! {2 B. i( _• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.

• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. - K$ l: F" K5 ?% q6 F
• Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed. , I- v9 \ q3 Z$ t; p
• Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service. $ a4 J( V0 t( t; |, M" K
• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.4 ~ q. m6 h# ^' U4 }( S' ]
• Attend Cluster meetings.
$ o: m5 v* W3 N/ b* l' I• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.& r2 Y) B; j K
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department * f5 c, T% R% Y. d3 ~6 D
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies

• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property, x/ O( T& p, [, v) A3 y, n6 J
• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
; N+ p+ S% I$ r U" ?( J0 m0 O• Ability to lead and develop;) g: w2 _4 n3 r5 O
• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;8 m0 J# B+ v4 w, t# ?6 d. f" O" K" r
• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;# m4 e1 n/ `, I3 G+ v. K+ K) X
• Ability to work within deadlines;
