Job Responsibilities
( d' c1 C6 c2 x' }• To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.+ W2 `6 a$ X) x# T% T
• Oversee hotel security requirements. ( q l, [4 X+ r. \9 P
• To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.

• To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.5 X( L# T6 w9 \; e1 ^
• To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.
- H4 O' d+ f. ?9 y• To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.
( O& S$ C! R7 W. i• Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.

• Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term.

• Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.0 k4 J2 ?% R9 l! l) t' B) G
• Attend Cluster meetings. ; n- z! |, H2 \, T9 J# C: u3 ~9 r
• Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.: h# f1 x7 ^4 c8 R3 ]+ Z8 q
• Handle PMS computer problems in each department ) P! M: z) I4 O7 P
• Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies4 i* a" G9 E, }$ y+ h( m$ ^, a( m
• Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center: W- T2 O+ J/ ^6 i( n
• Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float

•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property

• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
