Responsibilities
( V6 I2 N6 e, v1 w& E•Develope scopes of work for subcontrators and RFP packages: A2 [% R/ k& T1 ]
•Review all aspects of the RFP documents! m6 d( O" T: ]! O
•Participate in the kickoff meetings with the project team and progress meeting throughout the bid stages
; k" S) M# i7 a•Coordinate with subcontractors to understand the scope of work 7 u, `# k8 W( T7 w- S
•Develope a basis of estimate - Lump Sum, Target Price, Unit Rates, Create or modifty templates used in Excel to build pricing
, N9 u6 u$ T8 U4 r$ A•Research work locations for local subcontractors within the area and build relationships
& e, S: a& v/ K* {7 f7 d. f% x+ E•Support subcontractor technical clarifications during the bid cycle! \% c. H% R+ @" s7 O, P9 }
•Support subcontractor bid evaluations and make recommendations to the Lead Estimator
' K5 x1 F$ T) ]•Liaise with Lead Estimator, Project Manager, and Project Controls to present key elements of the estimate which will influence the development of a bid schedule and project execution plan |
