Key Responsibilities are as follows:
& B: K1 t1 @+ {# P) J2 x5 H•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
( I) V% r% p4 d2 z& J3 J. [•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies' C; w& b1 P/ m R6 M
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting
# q( G4 J4 M! B. q% v; \$ Y* j( }6 z•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.( R! f* }3 G5 {; q+ Z( S
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

9 D& i/ y3 k y4 [/ @7 ?# ?7 B+ B•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
+ g1 h, `8 w9 L•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
^$ ] z. ^; T! N6 u6 \•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;# _! f5 f# c- S! g" T
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
