•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
9 [' ]: C2 G! r) n9 H% h•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

L9 J& Y•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting" w% E8 Y3 f9 n/ K$ W! ^! q9 Z
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
3 f" ~+ u$ T+ X1 @•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

# e9 r. O* z3 h0 i•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;+ A5 P" w$ `) }0 p
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;$ K6 W7 Y) F9 `! ^- F
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
+ Q [0 H& ]9 v$ {+ P•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 1 E# Z2 R! o& v& f; n) P0 g
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
