Key Responsibilities are as follows:
, P! ?. [* R. \' V7 r3 _•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services
# o; a# F9 ^# d4 R G# J6 K•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies0 u* f2 N' w7 U, A) d. T
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting1 L! f% |4 a& f% E5 v; n: K
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.6 T' f0 E- O( c* \ D5 v
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;2 u- F9 U. o* F e
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;, t% |3 ?0 }$ F7 K o
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;) V/ B9 d8 t# a; ?/ b7 C
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
3 x9 y2 @& Z- J2 z* d4 y•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
