•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services

H8 J/ p& }: Q3 q: d+ m•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies7 M9 E x9 b. J* r& h9 ~: |4 S
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting7 B9 k# @4 s) t! I5 l
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.+ R) g% B, z1 d/ S
•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

Qualifications:
1 J) x. K5 l9 ?9 L•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;
! ~+ H2 z" h$ [! ?. m# T B•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;! N" w; N4 Z" r' X# y7 m" r8 m
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
- b- |1 K/ |: Q* W8 V7 N•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
, h9 W( f+ W, @) V3 j9 B# K2 u•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
