Key Responsibilities are as follows:0 q: \3 y/ E- x+ ~7 s; }
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services " u `5 Z9 y3 M) q' }* h
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies7 |( U2 ?6 a* O; s. ]! m/ ^" A
•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting# p% R6 r8 N+ e0 u2 o
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.

Qualifications:- x% C l4 z+ T6 z2 }4 P
•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;7 b8 b5 k" w5 C; \" D2 q7 Q
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;) v% h @1 w. z/ V
•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
* H4 Q9 Z5 Y, [8 m/ W+ ?( C1 U•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential 0 P, I! i9 D' }" ~/ v& E( p! y; P
•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
