1 o/ `& U) T6 I8 ~Reporting to the Team Lead for Drilling and completions, the Senior Drilling Engineer will perform all aspects of well design including; Casing and Tubing Design, Mud Systems, Fluid Hydraulics, Primary and Remedial Cementing, Specialized Technical Software for tubular design and effect improvements in drilling efficacy.4 b0 o7 y/ n: `

! V) }# g1 \$ n5 KFor each well, confirm casing/tubing stress analysis, mud/hydraulics programs, cementing program, collision avoidance criteria
# [7 Z0 W3 u5 s# p9 C, ^Prepare Drilling Program, Basis of Design, ADW and other special operations programs as required in the course of the operation
) f2 b1 k4 z% V: nSteward to the recently implemented Well Delivery Model for Suncor including multi discipline peer reviews and post well reviews
6 W% D8 K0 h1 D: SPrepare End of Well Report which details cost analysis, operation analysis and provides recommendations for continuous improvement
E8 x% Y' y5 }" vPrepare technical specifications to be used in tenders for materials, services and equipment used in the drilling operations $ @& S6 A9 f+ i4 D
Stays abreast of current technology and Best Practices within and industry and recommend the application of new technology , L [) q2 g# Y5 {: ?: Q$ x+ c1 s
Prepare management of change for drilling programs as needed8 [2 [2 L4 n' o e" @+ h: O9 Z
Communicate regularly with the cross discipline members of the NAO Team on progression, lessons learned cost and efficiency improvements as well as investigation on operational setbacks

Participate in cross company technical forums on drilling and completion technology

Service company or oil company drilling or completions operations experience preferred( q, F# S( w8 A s3 c
Field supervisor experience will be an asset1 p7 `6 E: T7 v0 H
