例如，如下四句，如果运用准确，能显示出作者语法功底8 _8 G* y2 ~5 `) ]' I

Last night, I was taking part in a party.
to me, all 4 are ok and acceptable. depend on where and how you are going to use them. picking one over another doesn't make the sentence any more or less sophisticated.
