Overall function of this position is to develop the East Asian customer base of the company. The purpose of the Business Development Rep is to drive new business in his/her territory, while maintaining profitable sales

Key Responsibilities:
0 N0 z" [, h7 t& h3 |0 v" l
• To initiate, follow up on and negotiate opportunities with potential customers for the intended purpose of ‘signing’ them as new business. This is measured through in-store customer sales. 

) }& t! j( ?8 T h1 d- N; v7 Q• To develop the customer base through cultivating leads & opportunities and be able to convert these into regular customers.
: J$ s6 s: V8 F2 d( k
• To be accountable via daily sales call reporting in real time, measured against territory growth (non-tobacco store sales) vs. the previous year.

• To execute focused selling in a large territory targeting the food-service industry, maintenance calling on high volume KEY customers in foodservice, convenience stores, small businesses, clubs & organizations.

• To execute the division’s promotional and marketing programs in conjunction with the overall business plan. Accountability via customer buying activity during the period measured through store sales.! \* H* C- z. A$ p: R8 D% P. s

• To manage all aspects of customer inquiries leading to regular store visits, including initial store tours. 

# X& T# d) j8 D* o N• To develop customer relationships with gold level customer base and industry organizations.

• To build extensive product knowledge over various categories and be capable of driving sales in achieving sales & profit targets." G, n: u: f8 n3 P8 Z8 e3 G

Job Qualifications
5 L2 A/ c3 J1 F5 Z; j• Ability to speak English and Cantonese or Mandarin 

5 q" J) w* o; ^0 z) ?& i$ z• Proven experience meeting aggressive sales targets.

% J5 n; p0 e) ]• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
8 k! B/ q H& z3 c
• East Asian Food Service and/or Wholesale sales experience is desirable.
! u0 k$ K7 B. w8 O
• Superior communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
, G$ m. A, h% H1 t1 a
• Travel within the assigned region.
