It shows that the median family income in Canada is $76,000 -- generally higher in the West than the East -- while the median individual income is just $27,600. That means just as many individuals earn less than $27,600 as earn more.

由低到高排序，中间值为MEDIAN（中文叫中值）。平均值谁都能理解。
) ?$ G# ]8 T+ k  w& i! u１万，２万，３万，８万，１８万：MEDIAN 为３万，AVERAGE为6.4万。
低于MEDIAN 是比５０％的人少。高于MEDIAN，则比５０％ 的人高。AVERAGE 则不一定。平均二字更具蒙蔽性。

median, 收入低于和高于这个数的人一样多，各50%，大部分人会感觉这个数字比较真实。

( p, F8 {( Q9 T- H  T  f$ q9 Naverage， 收入低于这个数值的人数，有可能高达70%，高于这个数的有可能只有30%上下，很多人会觉的“被平均”，“拖后腿”。
