To provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:

    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
4 J' T/ G( {, B6 l  t5 n$ I    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
/ ?/ R1 l) x" y" w# {% S    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

    High School and or Post Secondary Education
8 W* H5 x" r4 [& |+ u    Previous customer service experience
' g% [0 i" p2 S% H6 [( ?    Previous sales experience an asset
: D! u# M! _( e* |" H8 B    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
" M0 Y! `0 Y! M    Strong analytical and organizational skills
1 f4 x1 m2 M$ s0 v    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
/ M9 N  A$ O! k( _- `0 p& ]    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
