Position Summary:
, [3 T1 U# I7 i: uTo provide front-line customer service of Personal Lines policies and taking responsibility for the retention and account development of existing clients, quoting and placing new business as required.

Primary Objective/Duties of position:
4 b% o2 {% q  q/ h! d: t
- q; s' k5 I: U% c    Servicing on-going client needs, advising on insurance matters, conduct needs assessment, recommending solutions, answering inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
    Selling new policies/writing new business to existing or new clients, retaining existing book of business
; ?$ Y6 F' _6 |% X    Quoting new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters and receiving walk-in clients
    Contacting Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy
1 {& p$ o( T6 q& q+ h1 q; z* P* A    Preparing documentation for insurers, completing applications for clients, issuing insurance certificates, processing changes and reviewing renewals
    Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes
% L; L$ d; \1 {4 J' L: t; z# k# B    Actively participate in training initiatives
    Participate in community marketing initiatives

$ ?) ~$ g0 s& E, PThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  I' b$ W( a, Q* @3 S
    High School and or Post Secondary Education
    Previous customer service experience
8 O; l2 P2 e+ f' L( Z5 f    Previous sales experience an asset
    General Insurance License Level 1 or willing to obtain
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent customer services skills and adept in conflict resolution
