(MUGs) Program; you have been signed-up for the 2006-2007 school year. By - @+ r. V6 s( Q/ I( }" E7 J: u
attending both Orientation and MUGs, you will receive a great deal of + d. v2 B9 [- Y6 X) X
information that will make your transition to the University community 0 l+ y1 E3 R. `% U6 O4 Y% X
more successful.

Orientation 2006 will be held on Monday, September 4th and Tuesday, ]& L7 G5 J3 W) D
September 4th, 2006. Check in is at 9:30am on September 4th. Your check

of volunteers ready to help you when you get to campus. Specifically
# V9 ]$ S$ @* Slook for the volunteers in bright colored t-shirts, as they have a wealth C V7 |' T# a: u' A
of directional information.! W$ R8 d8 r& w0 J7 L- W/ |
g9 \' Z9 J0 Q- S0 k' \3 CBoth days run on a similar schedule, from 9:30am to 6pm, with evening
; f, K G5 q5 Z. Z4 ]% Y+ factivities planned for both days. Throughout the 2 days you will attend * Y$ L( Z* l9 \8 x$ S9 y( f6 @& i: W
a variety of sessions crucial to your success at the U of A. On Tuesday 9 g5 R+ ~' T' Y9 k6 Y
evening we host our highlight event, the President's Address, in 8 ]4 H5 H r3 L- O( l' ^8 _

You will also meet your MUG Leader and the rest of your MUG group on
; U/ ~; k1 Y3 `1 ]September 4th, with whom you will spend the two days at Orientation 2006,
" e8 b5 a5 H" r+ s- h r0 ~* Dand then continue to meet with for the entire year.
% O4 U4 f" s# }/ ]2 d: Q" F3 `/ ^1 c' X, y' F
Both MUGs and Orientation 2006 will provide many opportunities for you 3 H: p5 N- f7 d4 `
to get all of your questions answered and to meet other students from : E5 z* ` ]* x2 r
your faculty. Among other things, you are scheduled to receive your 1 j7 O$ Y+ J7 L- t$ ~; b) ^: f
ONECard on one of the two days of Orientation 2006. To be able to process
6 E2 N9 `$ u& [6 }your ONECard, you will need to bring your acceptance letter and a piece / ?- K- ?9 T- z4 F" F1 v% S
of government-issued photo ID. You will also need to bring your Campus
- @9 Q" y4 _6 YComputing ID (CCID), which was sent by e-mail from AICT (Academic : ~( j- v w0 j; e) Y' r8 G& W
Information and Communications Technologies). Dress for the weather and
7 h9 U$ j: L' g) ebring either money or food for up to four meals (lunch and dinner for the
