JOB FUNCTIONS:

, r& U) x- T/ W7 |& ^3 H• Support capital projects and network build activity with coordination, installation, and commissioning duties • Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis, rapid troubleshooting diagnosis and prompt repair of equipment to ensure service restoral objectives are met.

' N5 q5 K  ?2 H7 }, L• Coordinate with other Technicians and departments as required to obtain maintain service levels.

' o& a4 e- n$ a2 H$ s  p• Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network as directed by work orders.

• Perform acceptance tests on newly installed sites and equipment to ensure results meet design specifications.

& f# K. c1 j- s• Microwave and Transmission experience (e.g. DS1, DS2 ,DS3, OC3, OC12, IP) • Gain in depth knowledge of key quality service indicators in geographic area of responsibility.

& P2 M# ^/ {) Z0 a2 |- D9 b3 K• Optical Fiber, SONET and knowledge of TCP/IP • Participate in retune activities associated with network optimization and build activities.

• Maintain inventory of required parts and perform regular audits to ensure availability of parts.

4 H3 Z7 `* r! d0 w• Administrative reporting of Mileage, Timesheet, Expenses, Equipment and Deficiency ticket updates etc.

• Test hand-offs, RSSI, transmit level on mobiles, dropped calls and investigate any changes.

• Document activities for future assessment analysis.

" n8 [& m  n; F4 V• Maintain current documentation of site status, complete trouble tickets, incident report and other required reports.

• Diploma or Certificate in Electronics from a technical institute.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

9 n, ]( E- i* N-Telecom Diploma with at least 2 years of post secondary education -Experience working at a cell site -Must be willing to travel around Alberta (expenses will be reimbursed) -Experience with Spectrum Analyzers, Internet Protocol Analyzers, RFC testing and Microwave testing *The manager is not looking for Engineers.

*The contractor will not be required to do any climbing This is for a large LTE Expansion in Alberta.
