What I have done to improve the air quality are: Replaced exhaust fan switches with timers in all bathroom and installed exhast fan and air duct if there is no before, the timer can exhaust indoor poor air out evertime a tenant using bathroom; I also installed exhaust duct for cooking hood, so people can exhaust cooking smells out; Changed the thermostat that can set HVAC fan manual on once a while to circulate the air inside the house./ `+ U: V1 b! #2 For temperature control: basically the basement temperature is much lower than upstairs. It maybe too warm for people in room upstairs while keeping comport temperature in basement. I readjusted all HVAC vents to make sure vents are open in basement and close more upstairs. Furthermore, I reduced blower speed to the lowest and according to adjusted the burner flame of the furnace.
