买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

: Q3 M& a- y# DYou can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:3 e* r+ F6 T- S9 G
•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and0 ~) {* [$ z. j: r. n# h
•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).3 c% L9 x. z* e' O- L" b. w
So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

A share in a co-operative housing corporation that entitles you to own and gives you an equity interest in a housing unit located in Canada also qualifies. However, a share that only gives you the right to tenancy in the housing unit does not qualify.0 ]3 I% X) A/ D/ n

/ }+ o0 \: S( p" t: `* R9 ~! v在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.

& q3 d9 }5 F6 E+ u% `0 vWhen more than one individual is entitled to the amount (for example, when two people jointly buy a home), the total of all amounts claimed cannot exceed $5,000.
