买房的免税额度

去年买了房子,听说可以在报税的时候有7500的免税额度,不知道是不是真的。请问可以随便报在夫妻哪边吗?

You can claim an amount of $5,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home made in 2013, if both of the following apply:
, h; `0 j3 F- |+ C" x. I•you or your spouse or common-law partner acquired a qualifying home; and
+ l* e9 h0 i: A% [•you did not live in another home owned by you or your spouse or common-law partner in the year of acquisition or in any of the four preceding years (first-time home buyer).
. Y0 l2 g6 I! E4 G$ Y& ?So the non-refundable tax credit is up to $750.

这样看似乎免税额度是 5000 不是7500?是必须买新房,还是买的二手房也算啊。

只要是第一次买房,都可以。

3 `: }2 l! V" o; _$ qA qualifying home must be registered in your and/or your spouse's or common-law partner's name in accordance with the applicable land registration system, and must be located in Canada. It includes existing homes and homes under construction.

在税表的Schedule 1 - Line 369行填上5000,折合成tax credit =5000*15%=750. 就是把你的交税额减去$750.   E  ?% Y/ E9 ~8 V- C6 _

The claim can be split between you and your spouse or common-law partner, but the combined total cannot exceed $5,000.3 V" T) l/ _7 b+ a! C
