This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible). 5 Z0 r( W, \) ^1 W, i7 ^When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic " n+ R. l" o: k* r" I0 vcondition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and ' L+ [7 Q& e7 D) L( B) I% }# ^$ `• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or5 |- z0 M, k6 q$ |0 M
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.% W5 f- D) h' T# T& n, ~, W
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
