This option is automatically included for all applicants up to age 59, and can be purchased for ages 60 to 85 (provided the applicant is eligible).& Y& F* x0 J' B$ \
When the option is included or purchased, exclusion 1 in the policy is modified such that, after any applicable waiting period, a stable chronic! ?3 y3 P1 r* T" r9 F
condition (as defined) is covered under the policy.
“Stable Chronic Condition” means: a condition which is under treatment and which has been controlled by consistent use of medication prescribed by a “physician”; and3 P, \6 u) K6 w; {
• there have been no new symptoms or change in symptoms; and/or4 \" E4 b) e* ~" @1 ?5 `
• there has been no “hospitalization”or change in treatment, medication or dosage in the 180 days prior to the “effective date” of this policy.- a' t$ j4 q2 j9 s0 z, f
If “your” “physician” has determined that “your” health condition has improved and changes “your” treatment or medication or its dosages due to “your” improved health condition, this does not constitute a change.
