(b) have a motor vehicle on a highway unless the motor

(i) to drive the motor vehicle on a highway, or) V K3 ?6 M& e& _- H
(ii) to have the motor vehicle on a highway,

1 D4 q* q& f& Y4 _- v% [1 Z(d) give or lend a financial
5 r- H5 T. a" ~* \responsibility card or a copy of it
8 F0 p+ t2 D1 Zto a person not entitled to have that financial
& S. _$ J! y. Rresponsibility card or copy.

If a person drives or has a motor vehicle on a highway) t4 s4 t& F- N1 {8 F( Q
without the expressed or implied consent of the registered owner of

T# j' j# B7 \" v8 c2 J(1)(a) or (b) to drive or have on a highway a motor vehicle that is! ^4 [1 p$ y5 J& O- ?

5 s# C7 m8 E& v @' Rfinancial responsibility card has been issued pursuant to the

g: n! V2 V3 u+ sby an insurer who has issued an owner’s policy3 `$ A) v2 l9 e
outside Alberta.

A person, other than a corporation, who contravenes subsection) @$ j% T6 _4 w* Y0 B
(1) or section 52(1)(h) or 167(8) is liable,/ g" A' \+ T6 D- }+ ?2 J- ~
(a) for the first contravention, to a fine of not less than $2500% h) c4 G) c4 z' v% _: s* Q
and not more than $10 000 and in default of payment to
" a& T/ j$ n f' i1 ^5 k+ iimprisonment for a term of not less than 45 days and not& j5 W$ j: n% P4 X( Y7 I B ^ b
more than 6 months

Minimum $2500, if you don't pay, you will go to jail for a minimum of 45 days. |
