Your job responsibilities will include:
! k9 R, W4 l+ Q" N# B5 t, {; E•Check payroll time cards, production chits and other paperwork, calculate production time. Key data into system and transmit to Nethris for processing.
# `( [/ a( J/ [•Prepare monthly payroll journal entries for capturing labour and fringe benefit costs
$ T2 @6 E4 W3 I1 q$ z6 E•Prepare monthly safety and statistical reports for management.
' _9 e* r% ]3 Q•Prepare payment requisitions for group insurance, RRSP, etc. as agreed upon by the union contract
•Coordinate work related accident and group insurance claims.
•Perform AP Invoice matching
•Prepare month-end AP accrual

The ideal candidate will have excellent Excel skills and 3-5 years of payroll experience in a JIT manufacturing company. Exposure to the payroll system of Datatrack/Nethris would be a definite asset. Experience with union payroll will be an asset. Need to be able to speak fluent English, has advance reading and writing skills.
