One person killed after vehicle crashes at South Edmonton Common Walmart

EDMONTON - One person is dead after a vehicle crashed early Friday into the South Edmonton Common Walmart.

The vehicle burst into flames.

3 t- v: Z) c8 PPolice and fire crews responded to the crash at the at 1203 Parsons Road, just after 2 a.m. Police said the vehicle struck the wall of the Walmart garden centre.

Police have not confirmed the person’s age or gender.

& `; C# a  D7 PThe fire was quickly under control, but the heat set off the sprinklers inside the store, forcing the night staff to flee.
