关于买condo mortgage question

我有一个朋友打算买一个condo，但银行说要看condo financial documents。请问有这一说吗？

没听过。这与mortgage没关系啊。难道以次此来估算condo fee 的涨幅？

It is reasonable for the bank to ask for condo financial statement before they lend you money. They have to assess whether the condo is properly managed, and whether there is sound reserve fund in place. It is recommended that your friends check condo reserve fund study and other financial documents as well, to see if there will be any special assessment in the near future.
