We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
9 A* {' M' y7 S6 u• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.8 t: w, F" g& k ], W0 Z6 D1 T
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

REQUIREMENTS:

9 z3 ~* e' a: W8 c/ q4 H. }• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
9 {; R c: _3 l2 w0 p! `• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study2 g' n" n( V8 P% p/ j
• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills1 ?- f% p* P( g* p- j! A( j' \
• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
