We are currently seeking detail oriented person based in Edmonton to fill the role of Junior Accountant.

DUTIES:

$ y8 e) _% p5 `6 K @• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
* S; d0 N% W* W* ^• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.. U' l. x0 I1 _, ~
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible
/ m% S# h L2 \8 C, g5 C) w• Various administrative and order processing duties as required.

) |( C" I" n% |• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role
- ]7 f. f$ @" b# Y4 w& X: S• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
) u- A1 A2 g$ ]• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
. H j. Z5 _8 q7 U# m4 h3 P• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
! L0 R$ \3 h: U" w- n( K• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)$ N s% w! s* Q% R) i; B
