2 I+ D! E8 |3 {* G新移民想提高英语水平, 效果最好的是找一个纯英语环境的工作. 否则可以全职上学, 比如 硕士,博士, 成人高中, 政府的 LINC 和 ESL等等. 工作.学习之余, 可以去下面一些场所练习口语. 这些地方基本上都是 free, 不用预约, 或多或少提供早餐或者晚餐. 这个 list 是我知道的, 分享给大家. 另外如果你知道其它地方, 希望也分享一下.

/ c9 J+ t# f0 H% G9 s; X3 M A0 ^另外, 有些朋友会有顾虑, 担心入教什么的. 其实这些志愿者都是出于好心, 真心诚意地想帮助别人, 而不求任何回报. 正是因为他们有信仰, 才会无私地去帮助别人. 但是他们不会强迫你信什么的. 因为信仰不是强迫来的. 有的 church 会以圣经为学习材料, 很多 church 不使用 Bible, 而是印发一些学习材料, 比如语音知识, 文化知识等等. 下面这些地方我去过一些, 感觉都不错.

For beginner, intermediate and advanced students to practice English in an informal, small group setting. The Canadian Concepts textbook series forms the backbone of the curriculum providing a good balance of vocabulary development, grammar, reading and conversation skills. To register call Grace at 780-475-0553 between Aug. 20 and Sept. 6. New Student Assessment will be Sept. 8. Fall Session – September 15 – December 1, 2014; Winter Session – January 5 – March 23, 2015; Spring Session – April 13 – May 25, 2015. There is no fee for the classes.
