Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
4 g0 ~) \, S7 \- _/ o8 b3 ]0 iSupervise kitchen staff’s activities
1 J4 x" Y* [. T4 x' ?6 i6 ~Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
Recruit and manage kitchen staff
Rectify arising problems or complaints
; f6 v7 J* Z/ h. WGive prepared plates the “final touch”
5 S! W. x! s8 HPerform administrative duties
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Proven working experience as a head chef

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
8 j7 d+ t3 S: A# mKeep up with cooking trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
