I saw God's image in a homeless man.

Today I was volunteering at a post office. A man in an old jacket with uncombed hair came to the counter. He had a wallet in his hand, and put it on the counter. He told me:
"I am going to send it back".
I did not understand what he meant by "it", because usually people would send a letter or a parcel back to the sender, and I did not see he had any of those. So I asked him:
"I am sorry, what are you sending back?"
! C; H% e) ^  R0 qHe said, "the Wallet, I am sending back the wallet." Then he added: "I am going to pay the postage."
9 g! ]( N2 N8 V% H( o"Oh, you found a wallet, and you are going to send it back to the person who lost it?"
"Yes, I did."
5 h& J, N+ L6 E! T8 LFinally I understood: this dishevelled man found a wallet, and he was going to return it to the owner by post.
+ H( F7 n% C$ [5 z' LHe took the ID card from the wallet, and showed me the address of the loser of the wallet. I saw there were several one-hundred bills in the wallet.
"Are you going to take some money from the wallet to pay the postage?"
"No, I am not. I do not do those things."
) v6 C+ T, n' s/ y4 `He took out his  wallet, which was nearly worn-out, small, and almost empty. There were some coins inside.
3 _, _& l) g" w/ RI gave him a bubbled envelope, and instructed him where to write the addresses. He wrote the owner's address, but stopped at writing a return address. He asked:
/ R! K# {* {; j"Is it okay that I do not write this part?"
"Yes, you may." I thought he must want to be a nameless hero. But he said:
/ `: R" K0 }6 S% b( L7 b: j6 G"I do not have an address."
I was surprised: "oh, where do you live?"
$ U3 G% W6 B* v0 E1 VHe did not look up, and said: "I do not have a home."
My heart had a sudden jump. I realized that this is a homeless man who found money but was sending it back to the person who lost it.
! o7 r; z5 @& U( y) o+ z/ K: [+ }He did not a posses a home, but he had a big heart. He had the precious fortune of being a man of integrity.

if you'd like care about those homeless who sleep at LRT station, you may visit those homeless my wife and provide some food to them. I once met some homeless at downtown LRT station in winter morning 7:00 am, those people are very pitiful, they need some food.
