Canada North Camps Inc. (14238 – 134 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5L 5V8) is looking to hire a full-time Cook who could be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of food items while maintaining a clean and safe work environment adding to an all-around pleasant dining experience for our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches, salad bar and other high quality meals
  w4 O* ]. l! W6 y& g5 U+ }- Supervise kitchen staff
- u+ x; P& g; Z, S  Y3 ^2 G. F- Ensure kitchen staff follow company safety practices
- Plan menus, estimate food costs, order supplies
- Manage kitchen operations
- Maintain acceptable levels of food production

' d; p0 L. x8 hRequirements:
( L) j7 K+ U! k( ^+ S# o- Completion of college or other program in cooking is mandatory. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in restaurant / hospitality/ culinary arts is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience as Cook in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
/ l) a0 ^$ B9 T+ L- Good proficiency in English.
' ~5 g& C# I9 G& q2 O( T- Highly organized.
This is a contract, full-time position.
Working hours: 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.
Working schedule: 21 days on and 7 days off.
$ K6 u; c* X% j6 q; o3 xSalary: $160.00 per day. After 3 months of employment, medical, dental, disability and pension plan benefits will be available.
