SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003

5 z& A) M0 i) s& n   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
5 t  Y; H# D) m& K, r' z, b   o Microsoft Operations Manager
5 O3 A7 W6 _2 d   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
) t' t8 H% z$ Y3 W/ n   o Linux based operating systems
4 Y% _' r( J" R   o Sun Solaris operating systems
7 o4 J; J) J( D* w( U   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
3 W1 ?( G# G' i2 U9 ~• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
7 d6 T4 }) @" o6 }4 n- G• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
6 m4 H* a1 M. {- ~! _  Hplatform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

, Z/ k4 Z2 Z1 C' L/ E+ h4 |6 n% m* \• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
1 ^9 l2 ]5 f: i2 h# A• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
$ ^5 d" t. g3 K! j   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
1 F* y$ P& e7 H9 a: _- a   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
# H  J: O2 j# |- E6 |( {8 X   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
; {4 M8 F" C" P" B$ ?$ h• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
, \) K( D' q  a/ o& T% ?5 t" `; Q. L• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
) C. {& x' ^9 J1 h! F% v9 }( V% D/ _• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
' C& v2 P+ a# D. j' |; a• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
