RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
) v5 }/ B  E! p1 r• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
) b$ {+ B, _5 G   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
$ I' G' t$ E. E- `. i7 G! e; O   o Microsoft Operations Manager
. c& J+ W: }  F4 y   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
) f: V- n4 e' y) o) F! n+ A9 J   o Linux based operating systems
3 W8 u0 e/ A1 L' A+ h$ {   o Sun Solaris operating systems
7 P5 J' E" g! @2 @   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
: r$ U; K0 l% M# ~0 s, g# a+ @• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
, {0 y" @6 I+ W/ r2 r) o" H7 z• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
6 c3 T8 b# I# d4 h, z' ?  Y• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
) ?. Y' P$ {$ p' @6 J5 wSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

0 L) m9 `# Q8 G! LSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
: W3 G1 D- k# ^3 ]/ b" c: ?% J$ w: S• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
! E' c  Z% }% z7 t' ?' S6 z* P• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
! e% Q4 h" y2 }: w) t5 a- K( D• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
3 U9 }  ~0 _5 _' y+ L9 I. P% X• Certification should include some or all of the following:
& j! U* r. o+ C% k  x   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
3 l. X& u* ?% a' z6 W' ]   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

- Q0 ^5 O+ T$ J3 V• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
8 h: j* l2 Y" ?1 w! |/ F. ~• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
) [" N2 u% _) ]( t• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
( {9 T) w# i7 O( Q3 v• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

1 C( i* E% y$ e. X• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
