POSITION HOURS: 8AM – 5PM
EDUCATION: HIGH SCHOOL AND/OR POST SECONDARY
LOCATION: EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA
DURATION: CONTRACT OR PERMANENT
SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
7 v9 a! x; n! q   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
2 b9 E; x$ j* @/ S   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
; [, N" {2 ]$ S& \   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
: d* I" `+ E/ Z5 @: b) W• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
4 l! E2 _6 Y9 R" k  C3 _platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
0 @: Q- L% d7 G! y( w• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills

& b# F, H  f, f• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
8 S( P7 V8 Z0 }! m9 ~$ @• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
, k# a: Q1 E/ i. y! }   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service

8 K/ k9 I( w/ Z" V• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
0 P2 p! ?2 ^% Z" A2 E• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
4 A6 ~) q2 ?7 c) C2 {• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
