“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."8 C5 j$ h- H3 m5 N4 I) g" `4 {
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
7 \1 G# z0 ~0 u& d# AThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.7 \$ _" K/ U$ ]4 M* `, Q( u
Key Responsibilities:# J$ o. `* [8 O5 |9 t$ {; }
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children) D' p6 A7 L: R! ]3 H
