In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
( q# V7 g4 l( m/ k1 \Adhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
% a5 f: d, w: c( W5 I6 ^Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
Be accountable for decision and actions
8 L/ ~4 U4 R' z* sMitigate risk to the organization.

. c5 o* [9 Y8 @6 t, ~
* B) m; g/ P8 WA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
# a+ T8 H" f( T6 X+ O5 H• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:

; S) r, J5 x# u# k" ^+ g* oDemonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
Senior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

, o; U1 i0 W5 f6 Z- SCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
* }( c" ]% X0 s
Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
  K( f9 w( R6 i# n1 e6 e( G5 NMaintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
Center objectives.

Security Clearance :

Must have clear criminal record
