In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

; T8 t; u, D9 Y  W) X/ CLead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
( ~. z. ?- z7 m& mAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
; U# c3 m/ N+ `& L4 q8 p' j! JBe accountable for decision and actions
; u* w. s7 [. BMitigate risk to the organization.
% I  x0 a+ M3 P/ ?0 Q8 a/ x7 u$ o! \Education:
9 b& N- a0 L) W8 x! b$ Q
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
Experience:
3 v8 x. t' I; s  a) P" Y) S! L
Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
Public speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
# ~' Z6 o! t, w4 ISenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.
Professional:

Current or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).

7 Z) ^* `7 w# e6 y1 s6 QCurrent or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
. ^+ \/ p/ ?! V  [Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
7 A( b" V( v1 i1 N- Y, B$ `. h$ gCenter objectives.
