In accordance with the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre’s mission vision and values, the Chief Executive officer will lead the organization focusing on the following objectives:

Lead the organization towards the excellence in resident care and quality of life for Seniors
3 x, B3 B0 E1 iAdhere to the highest standards of organizational management and fiscal responsibility Build networks, alliances and partnerships
Achieve and maintain accreditation standards
* ^) h1 \% [4 B) ~Engage and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
. b# W( K& O) QBe accountable for decision and actions
Mitigate risk to the organization.
Education:

: |' R  `( o1 F4 P% J$ pA minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university, or a combination of management, health and/or public administration courses and related experience is required.
# X- K) Q  e) [• A Master’s degree is preferred in a related discipline
4 _; n8 e: n* X5 Y% Y3 F, u5 OExperience:
) F$ R6 D- i* _. ^1 T
Demonstrated involvement with Board’s of Directors.
4 m$ ]. {1 ?$ p: Y2 HPublic speaking and crisp writing skills are essential.
% b1 m0 l* q9 i# p1 TSenior’s housing, long-term care, supportive living and homecare in a position of leadership.

4 p5 w6 c, V. r: dCurrent or past Member of a professional organization (regionally, nationally or international).
0 w6 @7 P7 Y; r; s  C8 ^
Current or past Member of a Community Provincial, National or International organization.
Maintains current membership within statutory bodies and organizations in or outside the
% [: C$ N6 f5 ~+ d3 n# m7 iCenter objectives.
