The Ministry of Children's Services provides financial assistance to eligible lower-income families using:

Licensed day care centres

2 Y: U2 h1 h. Y" z5 _5 PLicensed out-of-school care centres

Approved early childhood development programs
9 w; c! K* q% H/ K$ X. b* JMaximum subsidy rates vary by program type and the age of child attending child care.

1 c% X, N4 R& A, i" x, ]You can apply for a subsidy if:

  ]9 O" X+ m1 {4 {* c$ iYou or your spouse/partner, or the child receiving care are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and live in Alberta.
You or your spouse/partner are an Alberta resident.
Your children are 12 years of age or younger and are not yet attending Grade 7.
You and your spouse/partner are currently working, attending school, looking for work or have special needs

低收入有一个数目。今天早晨听 cbc ，两个女士都有不错的工作，也可以领。我觉着我们对政府定义的低收入还把握不准。

4 C7 A0 l$ b8 p$ V2 Ba person earns wages of $1,000, and $300 in deductions are taken from his paycheck. His gross income is $1,000 and his net income is $700.

根据这个定义，应该不少人可以属于低收入。
