To become a probationary driver you must:* A9 y# `/ F: J

Be 16 years of age or older.

Probationary Conditions：

1。ust spend a minimum of two years as a probationary driver. 7 Z+ d2 E$ A4 v% i. z# r4 l
2。No more passengers than seat belts.
: N5 J+ i' B$ @1 I: Z% ]3。Fewer demerit points (8) are allowed than for fully licensed drivers (15). - s3 Z" }6 U- L2 p5 s4 e. @% _
4。Have a zero alcohol level.
1 Z" N( Y* D. X8 c( A: W, X5。No upgrading to a commercial licence (Classes 1, 2, 3, or 4).
