% s# W# f1 K4 q$ B" G) h6 MAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

1 p6 |. P5 k: e( _- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. # p/ q/ |2 j3 N( p7 m
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants. ! u" `/ N0 o& }" ^; H
- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. ; f1 U O8 z# o7 r) H) M; C# O9 S
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
@4 x: Z; y0 `5 r; |8 y. a- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.

Experience and Education Requirements9 g( }4 B1 k2 W, J" k
% \$ r: p3 h r- D- X J* R. s- Previous supervisory experience 7 U- G n5 R3 O
- Strong leadership skills
8 \# P1 e( k2 J6 ?6 G- A minimum of grade 12 diploma $ {& d( r6 @: t) r9 M
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
# B; c: \/ Q* f9 m( }4 b2 i- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
7 {9 E6 I' K4 D8 d n5 }, L C- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques. v/ w6 {( y- {( r4 T G- E
