As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:
9 f/ c7 V$ S' m# N" X: S# K/ S2 e
5 \5 ]7 g4 K) S" M F, m8 w% i. C- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. 8 o! x! r# k) ]1 }
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
V0 o9 V. ^* b+ ?% i- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators.
$ W( _! }1 I! j+ y1 L7 e+ o- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures.
/ f* R- L6 s' T2 v; o3 J7 r. \; B- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence.
. y( U8 q! H: A1 {& G8 a4 _% b- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).

- Previous supervisory experience ! v# x. t( A' r+ Q5 M# M1 s
- Strong leadership skills
2 v4 w+ c+ g: p4 G2 v; F- A minimum of grade 12 diploma
* ~9 Z( F9 ]/ [1 a9 X0 C- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
- T. W1 |1 f) V& L* ]- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
% d4 ?2 W8 Z, O' e! ~2 B: V" W- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.8 X) X4 D6 Y5 G- U( F2 ~* A, f% d
