As a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:

- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. $ f. h& o W6 T+ O3 a8 y
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
) F: ]7 i% }, I; V' C- T- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. 4 K& M/ q8 d, t" D) \0 s
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. ( ]7 H/ Y) n9 B; V% ^8 B
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 3 D& `( H" c/ @: F
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction).
& O! q/ k& Q8 K0 d6 \/ H- Managing shift expense budgets.

- A minimum of grade 12 diploma & N* o1 R& p) R* a
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills 4 g( ~1 h: w d/ j' n
- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations
# @, C4 u% _: l" y7 T- Z' b- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.
