6 m; c s* n; XAs a Shift Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the Reclamation and Pond Operations facilities on a shift basis. Other job duties include:6 v! f( B" R$ `7 t$ _8 S, ?6 `" h$ j
6 a7 `: ?, I( q5 f) k: x- Supervising Shift personnel to ensure reclamation operating targets are achieved. " d% V& U. S+ M
- Developing and implementing programs focused on the optimization and continuous improvement of the operating plants.
h1 }( O* A: e8 n" K- Ensuring effective on-shift training and progression qualification for operators. / b3 _, h4 D; j2 }; v
- Developing and revising applicable standards and procedures. , i J: X7 O: I# m
- Ensuring a structured approach to managing safety performance and environmental diligence. 4 D1 X2 ]% |1 v# e' c J
- Ensuring effective communications within the Reclamation Operating Group as well as with other departments, and with other operating groups (Extraction). $ \& x `1 j! s- t4 x& O
- Managing shift expense budgets.

Experience and Education Requirements

2 O+ u4 x7 G) d& ?& y+ [# E- Previous supervisory experience % O, ?0 q6 j& ~; t* t
- Strong leadership skills 7 H/ C) F/ I2 T: n0 }: P7 d$ q
- A minimum of grade 12 diploma 3 d8 |( B$ B* p% \" R. o+ p
- High motivation with good interpersonal, communication, planning and organizational skills
0 |* S& g7 }# m' S% n2 s% I& [- Several years experience related to large materials processing plant or dredging operations 7 N+ Q8 [) V& e8 N
- A good working knowledge of OH & S regulations and thorough understanding of Loss Management techniques.: O( `# D- d) s( p7 Q2 ~: z
